where our name is what we offer. Whether you’re interested in attending our yoga classes, our Movement workshops or private, personal training sessions, our philosophy remains the same. We move with bare feet and no egos, training the body using the metaphor of bamboo. Rather than adapting to become strong and rigid, capable of breaking, our approach is to strengthen the structure to become resilient, strong and bendable all at once. We use a variety of tools, all very simple in nature rather than machines and high tech gadgets. Really what we offer is a paradigm shift, a way to think about your body in the way it was originally designed to move with strength, ease and complexity. YMT looks to build a culture of hard workers, dedicated and up to the challenge of diving deeper into themselves.
Violin and Slow Flow Yoga
Friday, November 21st, 6:00pm-7:15pm with Caryn Lin
Please join us for a slow flow yoga class accompanied by the soothing sounds of the violin. Caryn Lin’s electric violin weaves science and soul into sound healing experiences that help people feel grounded, balanced, and emotionally restored. It is a journey to calm through amplified strings and science. Calm isn’t silent, it is resonant. Expect a slow flow yoga class ending with additional floor poses and an extended sivasana. All levels. Registering for this in advance is highly recommended. $35
